UNITED ARAB EMIRATES — Louis Berger, a global infrastructure and management consulting firm, today announced the addition of two new hires to its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional business operations. Andrew Ashcroft and Joseph Ciancimino join the MENA team based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively, in the United Arab Emirates.
“These appointments further strengthen Louis Berger’s operations as we continue to expand our business in the region,” said Tom Topolski, Louis Berger senior vice president and MENA managing director. “They each have extensive knowledge and experience, both within the industry and the MENA geography.”
Andrew Ashcroft joined the MENA team as the regional director for Dubai operations. Ashcroft is a civil engineer with 28 years of experience managing global projects for highways, structures, tunnels and maritime engineering. He has been with Louis Berger since 1999 and joins the MENA operations team from the company’s Latin America and Caribbean regional division.
Joseph Ciancimino has joined Louis Berger as the project controls director for the MENA region. Ciancimino has more than 20 years of experience in project management in ports and terminals, locks and dams, high-rises, hospitals, rail and road infrastructure, power generation and transmission, and telecommunications industries.
